Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all occupational health, safety, and environmental (HSE) aspects of property development and construction projects.

  • Work closely with the Project Director and site management teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and implementation of robust HSE systems.

  • Drive continuous improvement of safety performance and promote a strong safety culture across all construction sites.

  • Minimize project risks and support the successful delivery of large-scale developments in line with the company’s sustainability and operational excellence objectives.

  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential safety hazards and recommend corrective actions.

  • Develop and implement safety procedures, policies, and training programs to ensure compliance with local and international safety standards.

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety training programs, ensuring all site personnel are adequately trained and aware of safety protocols.

  • Lead investigations of accidents or incidents, determining root causes and implementing corrective measures.

  • Ensure that all HSE documentation is maintained accurately and up to date.

  • Coordinate with contractors and consultants to ensure safety practices are being followed and address any issues that arise.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Civil Engineering, Building Construction, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum of 15 years of total work experience, with at least 10 years in a construction safety role for large-scale civil or building projects.

  • Strong knowledge of local safety regulations and industry best practices.

  • Knowledge of international safety standards is required and considered a strong advantage.

  • Proven experience in safety monitoring and coordination with contractors and consultants.

  • Experience working on the developer side is an advantage.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in written and spoken English.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

  • Energetic, self-driven, and a strong team player.
