Job Responsibilities
Leads monthly management reporting of financial planning, budget, forecasts and analysis
Creates variance analysis reports and financial models.
Leads real-time financial performance monitoring.
Escalates any financial issues to management.
Completes market research and comparable company analysis.
Recommends strategies for increasing financial performance.
Presents detailed monthly financial reports to stakeholders.
Uses popular financial planning and analysis software.
Collaborates with senior members of the accounting and finance teams.
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, accounting, or a related major or equivalent professional experience is required.
10+ years Finance and business industry experience
5+ years leadership experience in the insurance industry managing cross
functional teams and influencing senior management; prior leadership and management experience required
Investment banking, Big 4 accounting, or management consulting experience is a plus
Knowledge on IFRS17 /IFRS9 will be an advantage;
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI and other financial analysis tools.
Learns quickly and has strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to lead discussions
