Job Responsibilities
Site Supervision & Project Execution: Manage on-site civil engineering activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and deadlines.
Construction Quality & Safety Compliance: Ensure all construction activities comply with local regulations, international engineering standards, and safety protocols.
Coordination & Communication: Work closely with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
Technical Review & Problem-Solving: Analyze technical drawings, specifications, and reports to identify and resolve engineering challenges efficiently.
Progress Monitoring & Reporting: Track project milestones, prepare site reports, and provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Material & Resource Management: Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely availability of materials and equipment.
Cross-Border Operations: Operate effectively across Thailand and Lao PDR, adapting to regulatory differences and work cultures.
Stakeholder Liaison: Maintain effective communication with local authorities, subcontractors, and key stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
5–10 years of experience in large-scale infrastructure or construction projects (experience in renewable energy is a plus).
Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methodologies, and site management.
Fluency in Mandarin (Chinese) is required; proficiency in English and Thai/Lao is an advantage.
Willingness to work in Thailand and Lao PDR for approximately a year before relocating permanently to Lao PDR.
Familiarity with construction laws, permits, and regulations in both Thailand and Lao PDR.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and cross-cultural communication skills.
Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent is a plus.
Fluent in English (minimum TOEIC score of 750).
