Job Scope
The SAP ABAP Developer will work closely with SAP Business Analysts to analyze business requirements, propose solutions, and implement developments. The role involves migrating programs to the S/4HANA platform, enhancing/redesigning applications using new S/4 technologies, and developing Fiori apps.
Job Responsibilities
Support SAP Business Analysts in all project phases.
Migrate existing programs to the S/4HANA platform and enhance/redesign applications using new S/4 technologies.
Develop Fiori applications for the S/4HANA platform while maintaining support for ECC until full migration.
Review business requirements, design solutions with Business Analysts, and provide cost estimates.
Implement solutions, conduct unit testing, and create/update technical specifications.
Provide regular progress updates to Business Analysts.
Assist in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.
Share knowledge with developer colleagues regarding new solutions and technologies.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience with SAP ECC and in-depth knowledge of SAP ABAP programming.
Experience with Adobe Forms, Smart Forms, SAP Script, and report building.
Hands-on experience in an SAP S/4HANA environment.
Ability to understand business processes and translate them into technical solutions.
SAP S/4HANA training or certification is a plus.
Strong communication skills with an open-minded approach to problem-solving.
Fluency in English (oral and written) is required.
Experience in the retail industry is a plus.
Proficiency in SAP HANA Studio (Eclipse), UI5, SAP Fiori, API, and Web Services.
Strong experience in ABAP Object-Oriented Programming.
Experience with low-code platforms (e.g., Neptune) is a plus.
Familiarity with SQL, JavaScript, XML, XML Annotations, Basic ALE skills, and CSS is advantageous.
