Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership across multiple concurrent data center projects, establishing and enforcing project management frameworks, standards, and best practices.

  • Oversee the design, construction, commissioning, and migration of data center facilities, ensuring alignment with operational, security, and performance requirements.

  • Manage the implementation of critical infrastructure systems, including power, cooling, and network architecture.

  • Develop and control project budgets, typically at a multi-million-dollar scale, ensuring effective cost management and optimal resource allocation.

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, preparing contingency and crisis management plans to minimize operational impact.

  • Lead, coach, and mentor project managers, engineers, and technical teams to drive collaboration, accountability, and high performance.

  • Act as the primary liaison with senior leadership, clients, and key stakeholders, delivering clear updates on progress, risks, and milestones.

  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiations to secure favorable commercial terms and ensure delivery quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline; Master’s degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in data center or infrastructure project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.

  • Strong understanding of data center operations, infrastructure, and emerging technologies.

  • Solid technical knowledge of power systems, cooling solutions, and network design.

  • Demonstrated success in delivering large, complex data center projects.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong negotiation skills with vendors and service providers.

  • Professional certifications such as PMP, CDCP, or equivalent are highly desirable.

  • Fluency in English with the ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels.

  • Willingness to travel as required for project oversight.

  • Familiarity with industry standards and compliance frameworks (e.g., ITIL, ISO, OSHA).

  • Proficiency in project management tools and data analysis platforms.
