Job Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership across multiple concurrent data center projects, establishing and enforcing project management frameworks, standards, and best practices.
Oversee the design, construction, commissioning, and migration of data center facilities, ensuring alignment with operational, security, and performance requirements.
Manage the implementation of critical infrastructure systems, including power, cooling, and network architecture.
Develop and control project budgets, typically at a multi-million-dollar scale, ensuring effective cost management and optimal resource allocation.
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, preparing contingency and crisis management plans to minimize operational impact.
Lead, coach, and mentor project managers, engineers, and technical teams to drive collaboration, accountability, and high performance.
Act as the primary liaison with senior leadership, clients, and key stakeholders, delivering clear updates on progress, risks, and milestones.
Manage vendor relationships and negotiations to secure favorable commercial terms and ensure delivery quality.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline; Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in data center or infrastructure project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
Strong understanding of data center operations, infrastructure, and emerging technologies.
Solid technical knowledge of power systems, cooling solutions, and network design.
Demonstrated success in delivering large, complex data center projects.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Strong negotiation skills with vendors and service providers.
Professional certifications such as PMP, CDCP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
Fluency in English with the ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
Willingness to travel as required for project oversight.
Familiarity with industry standards and compliance frameworks (e.g., ITIL, ISO, OSHA).
Proficiency in project management tools and data analysis platforms.
