Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure the operational effectiveness and efficiency of IT within the market.

  • Act as the deputy or backup for the Business Relationship Manager (BRM).

  • Manage all IT capabilities for the market, including IT Planning, Governance, Portfolio Management, Performance Management, and Capability Building.

  • Oversee workforce planning to ensure adequate resource allocation.

  • Handle Vendor Management, ensuring optimal performance and compliance.

  • Support the planning and execution of the IT Organization Model transformation.

  • Promote IT Operating Model Maturity and Change Management initiatives.

  • Drive continuous improvement of organizational and operational models.

  • Maintain high standards of operational quality, including processes, compliance, and best practices.

  • Ensure effective crisis management and major incident eradication.

  • Ensure that the IT organization aligns with strategic goals and governance frameworks.

  • Balance “doing the right things” through strategy and governance and “doing things right” through effective execution.

  • Oversee market management shared capabilities, including IT Project Managers.

  • Provide oversight of the IT Architecture for the market, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for IT capabilities.

  • Provide regular performance reports and insights to senior management.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure IT services align with business needs.

  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders to support IT initiatives and transformation projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration or related field, or equivalent work experience

  • 15 years in IT and business/industry

  • A minimum of 3 years of IT leadership responsibilities, end to end experience in IT

  • Experience in business/industry (beyond IT), managing cross-functional teams or projects, and influencing senior management and key stakeholders

  • Understanding of agile / iterative product development life cycle (design thinking, lean start-up), focus group management, customer journey creation, competitive research, customer research.

  • Experience in effective communication at different level in the organization and in English

  • Preference to have worked in a global environment and with virtual teams
