Job Scope

The CNC Specialist is responsible for overseeing all processes related to CNC machines, including installation, setup, troubleshooting, maintenance, and knowledge transfer to subordinates. The role requires managing a team to meet targets with high quality standards while contributing to the company's growth and continuous improvement.


Job Responsibilities

Senior CNC Specialist & Senior Hollowing Specialist

  • Install, set up, repair, troubleshoot, and modify assigned CNC machines and tools.

  • Implement new developments and improvements in machining, tooling, and cycle time to optimize production efficiency.

  • Transfer knowledge on handling, operating, and maintaining CNC machines while training new employees.

  • Supervise and guide technicians and operators on technical issues.

  • Collaborate with management and department heads to plan output, reduce rejections, and improve processes.

  • Oversee maintenance activities and ensure the availability of spare parts and raw materials.

  • Ensure operations are conducted within time and cost limits while maintaining quality standards.

  • Participate in Quality Improvement Circles (AIC & COPAC).

  • Ensure production planning aligns with schedules and prevents backlog creation.


Junior CNC Specialist & Junior Hollowing Specialist

  • Set up and configure CNC machines with full responsibility.

  • Prepare tooling and perform basic setup, repair, and troubleshooting.

  • Guide and lead technicians and operators in auto-control and measurement techniques.

  • Strictly follow Order Form (OF) planning and complete tasks within assigned timeframes, reporting any issues immediately.

  • Manage shift groups and report machine-related issues to superiors.

  • Ensure adherence to working instructions and procedures..

  • Transfer knowledge to team members to improve handling efficiency.

  • Identify reject reduction measures and apply corrective adjustments on machines.

  • Monitor downtime, implement corrective actions, and inspect sample pieces to maintain quality.

Requirements

Junior Level:

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience with CNC machines, Tsugami, Star series, Fanuc, CAD/ACM Hollowing, and Maintenance.

  • Ability to work in shifts.


Senior Level:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).

  • 5-7 years of experience in CNC auto lathe machines, Tsugami, Star series, Fanuc, CAD/ACM Hollowing, and Maintenance.


Skills & Competencies:

  • Leadership and coaching skills to manage and develop teams.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

  • Expertise in organization management and process development.

  • Strong communication skills in Thai and English (reading, writing, speaking, and presenting).
