Job Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
Lead end-to-end IT project management, from initiation to deployment, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.
Define project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in alignment with business needs.
Manage and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies effectively.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
Work closely with business users, IT teams, external vendors, and third-party service providers to ensure smooth project execution.
Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clear project requirements and expectations.
Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring collaboration across different departments.
Technology Implementation & Business Integration
Oversee the implementation of insurance systems, including policy administration, claims management, underwriting, and customer service platforms.
Ensure technology solutions comply with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies, digital platforms, and automation solutions to improve operational efficiency.
Project Governance & Reporting
Establish project governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with company policies and IT standards.
Monitor project performance using KPIs, progress reports, and risk assessments.
Provide regular updates to senior management and key stakeholders on project status.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in IT project management, preferably in the insurance or financial services sector.
Strong knowledge of insurance operations, including underwriting, claims, and policy management systems.
Experience in software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.
Proven ability to manage multiple IT projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Strong skills in budgeting, resource management, and vendor negotiation.
Experience with cloud computing, cybersecurity, and enterprise IT solutions is a plus.
