Job Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

  • Lead end-to-end IT project management, from initiation to deployment, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget.

  • Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.

  • Define project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in alignment with business needs.

  • Manage and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies effectively.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

  • Work closely with business users, IT teams, external vendors, and third-party service providers to ensure smooth project execution.

  • Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clear project requirements and expectations.

  • Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring collaboration across different departments.

Technology Implementation & Business Integration

  • Oversee the implementation of insurance systems, including policy administration, claims management, underwriting, and customer service platforms.

  • Ensure technology solutions comply with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

  • Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies, digital platforms, and automation solutions to improve operational efficiency.

Project Governance & Reporting

  • Establish project governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with company policies and IT standards.

  • Monitor project performance using KPIs, progress reports, and risk assessments.

  • Provide regular updates to senior management and key stakeholders on project status.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in IT project management, preferably in the insurance or financial services sector.

  • Strong knowledge of insurance operations, including underwriting, claims, and policy management systems.

  • Experience in software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple IT projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

  • Strong skills in budgeting, resource management, and vendor negotiation.

  • Experience with cloud computing, cybersecurity, and enterprise IT solutions is a plus.
