Job Responsibilities
Business Requirements & Process Management
Manage end-to-end IT business requirements across all processes within the organization.
Work closely with Key Business Users to gather and analyze business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
Act as the liaison between business and IT teams, ensuring that solutions align with business objectives.
Define and develop Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and other related documentation.
Solution Architecture & Technology Evaluation
Assess technology solutions and system capabilities to meet business requirements.
Collaborate in the design of Solution Architecture, ensuring it aligns with business needs.
Work with external vendors and service providers to ensure system development meets business expectations.
Business Process & Customer Experience Optimization
Provide consultation on process improvement (Business Process Management - BPM) to enhance operational efficiency.
Evaluate and offer guidance on Customer/User Experience (CX/UX) strategies for IT systems.
Work closely with project managers and system developers to ensure smooth implementation.
Help prioritize IT projects to align with business goals and strategic initiatives.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the insurance or financial sector.
Strong knowledge of insurance business processes, underwriting, claims management, and policy administration systems.
Experience in gathering and analyzing business requirements and translating them into IT solutions.
Familiarity with solution architecture, business process modeling (BPM), and system development methodologies.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and external vendors.
Experience with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies is a plus.
