Our client is an import company and authorized dealer for Nissan, Ford, Mitsubishi, and MG vehicles. They are currently expanding into the Chinese electric vehicle market, importing cars such as Changan, Deepal, Aion, Zeekr, and Avatar. They have over 80 showrooms nationwide, including service centers and comprehensive paint and body repair centers for three brands.
About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Sales director to lead the sales team and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong consulting background. This role requires a strategic thinker who can maintain and build relationships with clients, provide consultative sales expertise, and achieve sales targets.
Job Description:
The Sales Director plays a crucial role within the organization or company as they are responsible for planning, managing, and overseeing all sales operations to achieve the organization's financial goals and market expansion. The role requires strong analytical skills to make decisions regarding suitable sales strategies, as well as developing and training the sales team to maximize efficiency. The Sales Director must possess excellent communication and negotiation skills to build strong relationships with customers and business partners. Additionally, they need to have a good understanding of sales-related tools and technologies such as Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, big data analytics, and social media marketing to improve and enhance sales activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage sales operations and sales team, setting monthly and yearly targets, building confidence and trust with customers and the sales team for long-term customer engagement and service, and achieving sales targets.
Oversee sales of each branch within each brand, ensuring they meet their targets, as well as managing costs.
Expand and maintain both new and existing customer bases, plan to gather new customer group data every month.
Set sales targets, forecast sales, and lead the team to achieve set goals.
Develop sales strategies to stimulate and address issues that arise to successfully close sales.
Analyze and compile various sales team operations to plan and track results promptly.
Build a strong and efficient sales team and establish an effective sales process and measurable performance.
Provide guidance and consultation on various sales-related issues, including decision-making affecting sales, problem-solving, and presenting sales reports and evaluations to management.
Recommend innovative campaigns or Digital Marketing and Social Media channels in collaboration with the marketing team.
Perform other duties as assigned by superiors.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
Proven experience in sales management, preferably in a similar industry.
Excellent leadership and managerial skills.
Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in using sales-related tools and technologies.
Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and remain proactive.
