Job Responsibilities
Project Prioritization & Governance
The PMO prioritizes projects based on strategic goals, resource availability, and potential ROI.
They implement risk management, change control, and quality assurance processes to ensure that projects are initiated, executed, and monitored according to guidelines.
Resource Planning & Scheduling
The PMO forecasts resource demand for pipeline projects and assesses available resources and their attributes.
They identify resource gaps and develop resource plans to allocate resources strategically and meet project objectives and deadlines.
Resource Optimization
The PMO ensures efficient use of resources to meet organizational objectives.
They track resource usage and identify instances of over- or underutilization, and direct managers to optimize workforce utilization and productivity.
Workflow Management
The PMO ensures seamless workflow management throughout the project lifecycle.
This includes establishing standardized workflows and implementing tools and technologies to streamline project execution.
They also evaluate and recommend improvements to optimize operations.
Stakeholder Management
The PMO facilitates clear communication between stakeholders and project managers to ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
This includes regular updates and meetings to gather feedback, address concerns, and manage conflicts.
Knowledge Management
The PMO maintains a repository of project plans, templates, lessons learned, and best practices.
They also provide training and development opportunities to enhance project management skills and competencies.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree is preferred
5+ years of experience in a PMO role
Proven success in launching and managing projects from concept to delivery
Fluency in English and Thai
Strong analytical, data-driven decision-making and leadership skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across different teams
Knowledge of agile development methodologies and project management best practices
